剧情简介：影片从03年美军进占巴格达时开始拍摄，历时两年完成。Korki导演称这部作品是一部反战电影。在美国攻占巴格达，拉倒位于巴格达市中心广场上面的萨达姆铜像的同一天，两个支持美军的库尔德族士兵在运送饭菜的途中遇到一个跟父母失散的小男孩，这个小男孩的名字就叫做萨达姆。他的名字引来年长士兵的反感，但年轻的士兵坚持带上他，帮助他寻找亲人。尽管美军基本控制了局面，但爆炸声仍然隐约可闻。一路上他们遇到美军、遭到炸弹袭击为了拯救伤者而偷他们车的平民、大嗜抢掠萨达姆**东西的民众、穆斯林僧侣等等，互不相关的人群因为两老一少的寻亲之旅而被串联在一起，一幅战乱中的众生相也随着镜头慢慢展开。
