2014，「蒙地蟒蛇」劇團正籌備告別演出，成團45年的他們距離上次同台已經是34年前了，其中一位團員格雷查普曼更於1989年因病過世，六人同台的光景也只能在紀錄片的片段追憶，也讓這場告別秀更增添幾分感傷。這場英國倫敦O2體育館現場的馬拉松演出座無虛席，不僅重現1973以及1980年兩場演出的橋段，更找來了《王牌大賤諜》麥克邁爾斯等人登台客串，而物理學家史蒂芬霍金與團員獻聲演唱〈銀河之歌〉噱頭十足。
