在近年众多新星导演之中，西班牙加泰罗尼亚导演Albert Serra算是较具争议性的一人。因为他的电影是如此简约，甚至可说是简陋，即使有不少人大力推崇 (如法国的 “电影笔记” 便曾把导演上一部 “Honour of the Knights” (唐吉诃德) [2006] 选为2007年最佳电影第七位)，但也有人质疑他只是趁着当下慢板长镜头当道的艺术电影潮流故弄玄虚，制作出件件国王的新衣。
