"時值1965年，塞西莉亞．曼基尼與丈夫利諾．弗拉前往越南拍攝越戰前線。兩人預計在當地拍攝一部關於人民抗爭的紀錄片，計畫已久卻始終沒能拍成。五十年後，當年並肩作戰的丈夫早已逝世，僅留下當年書寫的日誌、筆記、書信，以及遺忘在櫃子深處裝滿6x6負片的兩箱鞋盒。
